Lisa is a seven year United States Army veteran who graduated from Iola High School, a very small town near College Station, with honors before attending Oklahoma Panhandle State University graduating Cum Laude with her Bachelor’s of Science. After college she entered the human resources industry, helping major oil and gas companies manage the lifecycle of their employees. Lisa decided that gaining her Masters in Counseling, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude from West Texas A&M University, would assist her in understanding how best to help organizations manage the human side of their businesses. Lisa holds her professional counselor associate license for the state of Texas further enabling her to help customers meet all their human resource needs.

Lisa has experience in multiple industries ranging from insurance to oil and gas. While working in the insurance industry she became an expert at claims adjustments, worker’s compensation, CPT and ICD-9 coding, billing, and worked to become a subject matter expert. She spent time as an employee of the State of Texas where she worked with the medicaid program. Lisa also spent time as an employee of the City of Bryan College Station with their human resources department. While working for the City of Bryan College Station she helped to support the police and fire departments, as well as the public works department (ie: electrical, maintenance, etc). She also worked with the city on their employee compensation (salary and hourly pay, bonuses, contractor performance pay, and promotions) for both experienced and inexperienced employees. Additionally, she has experience working with durable medical equipment, and other various areas of the medical industry from an insurance perspective. She went on to partner with insurance brokers and later secured her personal insurance broker’s license. She was offered a position with Plumhoff & Associates where she spent time providing HR support to companies such as Rent-a-Center and many more.

She went on to serve in the position of HR manager for Chevron Phillips, where she remained for 13+ years. In her role of HR Consultant Texas manager with Chevron Phillips she managed all aspects of corporate benefits for both the United States and Middle East. With 5000+ employees and many contractors Lisa was tasked with numerous roles in multiple capacities from overseeing plant locations to corporate offices and executive level support. Her versatile experience with Chevron Phillips gave her the comfortability to work with employees and contractors across all ranks. Her experience with them went on to also include supporting their largest manufacturing site at Cedar Bayou in Baytown, TX.

Furthermore, Lisa’s time with Chevron Phillips provided her the opportunity to supply support to outside contractors and companies through a variety of means. Working with their IT, finance, research, technology, engineering, and other departments she was able to provide comprehensive HR support.
